A Song of degrees for Solomon. Unless Jehovah builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless Jehovah keeps the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.


Jehovah will watch over him and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed on the earth; and You will not deliver him to the soul of his enemies.


But You, O God, will bring them down into the pit of ruin; bloody and deceitful men shall not live half their days; but I will trust in You.


who holds our soul in life, and does not allow our feet to slide.


They shall bear You up in their hands, lest You dash your foot against a stone.


He keeps the paths of judgment, and guards the way of His saints.


then you shall walk in your way safely, and your foot shall not stumble.


For Jehovah shall be your hope, and shall keep your foot from being taken.


I Jehovah keep it; I will water it every moment; lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
