And Isaac prayed to Jehovah for his wife, because she was barren. And Jehovah heard him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.


And the woman conceived and bore a son at that time that Elisha had said to her, according to the time of life.


God causes the lonely to live at home; He brings out those who are bound with chains; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.


Rejoice, O unfruitful one that never bore; break out a song and shout, you who never travailed. For more are the sons of the desolate than the sons of the married woman, says Jehovah.


And if the woman is not defiled, but is clean, then she shall be clean, and shall conceive seed.


For it is written, "Rejoice, barren one not bearing; break forth and shout, you not travailing; for more are the children of the desolate than she having the husband."


They that were full have hired themselves out for bread, and they that were hungry ceased; yea, while the barren has borne seven, and she who had many sons has languished.
