And God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar out of the heavens, and said to her, What ails you, Hagar? Do not fear, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.


And He said, Lift up your eyes and see all the rams which leap upon the cattle, that they are striped, speckled, and mottled. For I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.


It may be that Jehovah will look on my affliction, and that Jehovah will repay me with good for his cursing this day.


Surely, yesterday I have seen the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons, says Jehovah, and I will repay you in this portion, says Jehovah. And now, take him and throw him into the portion, according to the Word of Jehovah.


And Joash the king did not remember the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but killed his son. And when he died, he said, Jehovah will seek you out.


then hear from Heaven, and do, and judge Your servants by repaying the wicked, by bringing his way back on his own head, and by justifying the righteous, by giving to him according to his righteousness.


Jehovah preserves the strangers; He relieves the orphan and widow, but the way of the wicked He turns upside down.


Be not far from Me; for trouble is near, for there is none to help.


and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a broad place.


You have seen, O Jehovah; do not keep silence; O Jehovah, do not be far from me.


Cast your burden on Jehovah, and He will keep you; He will never allow the righteous to waver.


In His holy dwelling God is the father of the fatherless, and the judge of the widows.


God causes the lonely to live at home; He brings out those who are bound with chains; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.


And God looked upon the sons of Israel, and God knew them.


You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child.


If you at all take your neighbor's clothing as a pledge, you shall deliver it to him by the time the sun goes down.


Jehovah will destroy the house of the proud, but He will set up the border of the widow.


The eyes of Jehovah are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.


And what will you do in the day of judgment and in destruction, of ruin when it comes from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory?


For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity hidden from My eyes.


Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? says Jehovah. Do I not fill the heavens and earth? says Jehovah.


Leave your orphans; I will keep them alive; and let your widows trust in Me.


because the ravager has come on her, even on Babylon, and her mighty men are captured. Every one of their bows is broken, for Jehovah, the God of vengeance, shall surely repay.


O Jehovah, You have seen my wrong; judge my cause.


You have seen all their vengeance, all their plots against me.


Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride on horses. Nor shall we say any more to the work of our hands, Our gods, for in You the fatherless finds mercy.


I will heal their backslidings; I will love them freely; for My anger has turned away from him.


Yea, and what have you to do with Me, O Tyre and Sidon, and all the borders of Philistia? Will you give Me a reward? And if you reward Me, swiftly and speedily I will turn your reward on your own head,


You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and can not look upon vexation. Why do You look upon those who deal deceitfully? Will you be silent when the wicked swallows one more righteous than he?


He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the stranger in giving him food and clothing.


For this cause I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard My deposit unto that Day.


Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight, but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.


Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing, as to a faithful Creator.


casting all your anxiety onto Him, for He cares for you.


And Adoni-bezek said, Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have gathered under my table. As I have done, so God has requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.
