And David spoke to Jehovah when he saw the angel who struck the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly. But these sheep, what have they done? I pray You, let Your hand be against me and against my father's house.


But He knows the way that I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.


How much less when you say you do not see Him! Judgment is before Him; you are waiting for Him.


Plead my cause, and deliver me; according to Your Word give me life.


And He shall bring forth your righteousness like the light, and your judgment like the noonday.


Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.


Arise, O Jehovah, in Your anger; lift up Yourself because of the rage of my enemies, and awake for me to the judgment which You have commanded.


But judgment shall return to righteousness; and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
