Have all the workers of iniquity not known, eating up My people as they eat bread? They have not called on Jehovah.


When the wicked, my enemies and my foes, came on me to eat my flesh, they stumbled and fell.


There is a generation whose teeth are like swords, and their jaw teeth like knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.


Jehovah will enter into judgment with the elders of His people, and their kings; for you have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.


What do you mean? You crush My people and grind the faces of the poor? says the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts.


who say, It is not near; let us build houses; this city is the pot, and we are the flesh.


Gather its pieces into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder. Fill it with the choice bones.


Hear this, you who trample the poor, even to make the humble of the land to fail,


Even yesterday, My people has risen up like an enemy; you strip off a cloak along with an outer robe, from those who pass by trustingly, those returning from war.


Her rulers within her are roaring lions; her judges evening wolves. They do not gnaw bones for the morning.
