When anyone hears the Word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown by the wayside.


the field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; but the darnel are the sons of the evil one.


For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies;


nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black.


And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.


I do not pray for You to take them out of the world, but for You to keep them from the evil.


You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.

We know that everyone who has been born of God does not continue to sin, but the one born of God guards himself, and the evil one does not touch him.
