A scorner does not love one who corrects him, nor will he go to the wise.


Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! Add year to year; let them kill their sacrifices.


And the crowd said, This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth of Galilee.


But if we shall say From men, we fear the people; for all consider John as a prophet.


And when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they knew that He spoke of them.


And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables, and said,


And the scribes and the chief priests heard. And they sought how they might destroy Him. For they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His doctrine.


And fear came on all. And they glorified God, saying, A great prophet has risen up among us; and, God has visited His people.


But seeing this, the Pharisee who had invited Him, spoke within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, for she is a sinner.


Then they sought to seize Him, but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.


The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its works are evil.


Men, Israelites, hear these words. Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by powerful works, and wonders and miracles, which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know,
