Jehovah, Your hand is lifted up, they will not see; but they shall see and be ashamed for their envy toward Your people. Yes, the fire of Your enemies shall devour them.


And when the ten heard it, they were indignant concerning the two brothers.


And when He had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him as He was teaching, and said, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave you this authority?


And the crowds who went before, and those who followed, cried out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!


saying, What do you think of Christ? Whose son is he? They say to Him, David's.


Then the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, assembled together to the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas.


And the chief priests and the elders and all the sanhedrin sought false witness against Jesus, in order to put Him to death.


And it becoming early morning, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put Him to death.


But the chief priests and elders persuaded the crowd that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus.
