and said to Him, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave you this authority to do these things?


And coming, they said to Him, Teacher, we know that you are true and you care about no one. For you do not look to the face of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?


But some of the scribes were sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,


But I say to you that Elijah has indeed come, and they have done to him whatever they desired, as it is written of him.


And going into the synagogue, he spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.


For consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and faint in your minds.
