Also I shook my lap and said, So let God shake out every man from his house, and from his labor, who does not keep this promise, even may he be shaken out this way and emptied. And all the congregation said, amen, and praised Jehovah. And the people did according to this promise.


But I say to you that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment.


And He said to them, Wherever you enter into a house, abide there until you depart from that place.


And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.


And they resisting and blaspheming, shaking his garment, he said to them, Your blood is on your own heads. I am pure from it. From now on I will go to the nations.


in a day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.


But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up wrath for yourself in a day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,


And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, He condemned them with an overthrow, setting an example to men intending to live ungodly.


The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust for a day of judgment, to be punished,


But the present heavens and the earth being kept in store by the same Word, are being kept for fire until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.


In this is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, that as He is, so also we are in this world.


as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these, committing fornication, and going away after other flesh, laid down an example before-times, undergoing vengeance of everlasting fire.
