And they begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His robe. And as many as touched were made perfectly whole.


and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and had not been bettered any, but rather came to worse,


For she said, If I may but touch only His clothes, I will be cured.


And wherever He entered, into villages or cities or country, they laid the sick in the streets and begged Him if only they might touch but the fringe of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made whole.


so that even handkerchiefs or aprons from his skin being brought onto the sick, the diseases were released, and the evil spirits went out of them.


So as to carry out the sick into the streets and place them on cots and mattresses, so that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
