Even a man, my friend, in whom I trusted, who ate of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.


And as they ate, He said, Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me.


For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.


And when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, of a sad face. For they disfigure their faces so that they may appear to men to fast. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.


Therefore when you do your merciful deeds, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.


And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.


Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter into it.


And Jesus answered and said, Truly I say to you, There is no man that has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my sake and the gospel's sake,


And in the evening He came with the Twelve.


And they began to be grieved, and to say to Him one by one, Not at all I, is it? And another said, Not at all I, is it?

Then Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses did not give you that bread from Heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from Heaven.


Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes on Me has everlasting life.


Jesus answered them, Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? And one of you is a devil?
