For we must all die, and we are as water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. And God does not take a life, but has devised plans so that the outcast is not cast out from Him.


He shall not be afraid of bad news; his heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.


Though an army should camp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I am trusting.


Do not be afraid of sudden fear, nor of the destroying of the wicked, when it comes.


Do not say, A conspiracy! to everything of which this people says, A conspiracy! And do not fear their fear, nor be afraid.


And let not your heart faint, nor fear the rumor that shall be heard in the land. The report shall come in a year. And after that a report shall come in another year; and violence shall be in the land, ruler against ruler.


Woe to the world because of offenses! For it is necessary that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!


But when Herod the king heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.


For many shall come in My name, saying, I AM, and shall deceive many.


For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be earthquakes in different places, and there shall be famines and troubles. These things are the beginnings of sorrows.


Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me.


Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
