But Jesus was silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, I adjure you by the living God that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God.


And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax-collectors do so?


But He was silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, Are you the Christ, the son of the Blessed?


And He said to them, But who do you say that I am? And Peter answered and said to Him, You are the Christ.


Are you the Christ? Tell us. And He said to them, If I tell you, you will not believe.


Answering, they said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah, and others say that one of the old prophets has risen again.


He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, being translated, the Christ).


Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God. You are the King of Israel!


She said to Him, Yes, Lord, I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who has come into the world.


But these are written so that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you might have life in His name.


Come see a man who told me all things that I ever did. Is this One not the Christ?
