Do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels?


And His fame went throughout all Syria. And they brought to Him all those being badly ill suffering various diseases and torments, and those who had been possessed with demons, and those who had been moonstruck, and paralytics. And He healed them.


And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?


And when Jesus had risen early the first day of the Sabbath, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.


And He asked him, What is your name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion, for we are many.


and also certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities; Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven demons,


(For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had seized him. And he had been kept bound in chains and in fetters, and he broke the bands and was driven into the deserted places by the demons.)
