Serpents! Offspring of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?


But the chief priests and elders persuaded the crowd that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus.


And immediately in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And they bound Jesus and led Him away and delivered Him to Pilate.


And when day came, the body of elders of the people, and the chief priests and the scribes, came together. And they led Him to the sanhedrin, saying,


And when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,


this One given to you by the before-determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken and by lawless hands, crucifying Him, you put Him to death;


who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, also driving us out and they do not please God and being contrary to all men,
