And in the time of his distress he trespassed even more against Jehovah, this King Ahaz.


To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David, the servant of Jehovah. The oracle utters transgression to the wicked within my heart. There is no fear of God before his eyes.


O Jehovah, are not Your eyes on the truth? You have stricken them, but they have not grieved; You have destroyed them, but they have refused to receive correction; they have made their faces harder than rock; they have refused to return.


You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall always rebuke your neighbor, and not allow sin on him.


And when they who were hired about the eleventh hour came, they each one received a denarius.


And He said to them, Why are you afraid, little-faiths? Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.


But I will warn you of whom you shall fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yea, I say to you, fear Him.


And one of the hanged criminals blasphemed Him, saying, If you are Christ, save Yourself and us.


And we indeed justly so, for we receive the due reward of our deeds, but this Man has done nothing amiss.


And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.


Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You only are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your righteousnesses were made known.


And they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores. And they did not repent of their deeds.
