So shall you say to Joseph, please lift up the rebellion of your brothers, and their sin. For they did evil to you. And please now lift up the rebellion of the servants of the God of your father. And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.


They divide My garments among them and cast lots for My clothing.


Therefore I will divide to Him with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul to death; and He was counted among the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.


At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank You, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the sophisticated and cunning, and revealed them to babes.


Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.


But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you,


And when they had crucified Him, they divided His garments, casting lots on them, as, to what each should take.


saying, Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.


I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.


Jesus answered, You could have no authority against Me unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.


But Paul called out with a loud voice, saying, Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.


And now, brothers, I know that you did it through ignorance, as also your rulers did.


And kneeling down, he cried with a loud voice, Lord, do not lay this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.


Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.


which none of the rulers of this world knew (for if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory).


And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it;


the one who before was a blasphemer and a persecutor and insolent. But I obtained mercy, because being ignorant, I did it in unbelief.


Never give back evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, giving blessing, knowing that you are called to this so that you might inherit blessing.
