And the king said to Haman, The silver is given to you, the people also, to do with them as seems good to you.


Then he released Barabbas to them. And when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.


And deciding to do the easiest to the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Him, delivered up Jesus to be crucified.


And they began to accuse Him, saying, We have found this one perverting the nation and forbidding them to give tribute to Caesar, saying himself to be a king, Christ.


And Pilate gave judgment that their request should be granted.


And as they led Him away, they laid hold on one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country. And they laid the cross on him, that he might carry it after Jesus.


And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.


Then they all cried again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas! But Barabbas was a robber.


Then he delivered Him up to them that He might be crucified. And they took Jesus and led Him away.


But you denied the Holy and Just One and desired a murderer to be given to you.


And now, behold the king whom you have chosen, whom you have desired! And behold, Jehovah has set a king over you!
