Pilate said to them, You have brought this Man to me as perverting the people. And behold, having examined Him before you, I have found no fault in this Man regarding those things of which you accuse Him;


Therefore I will chastise Him and release Him.


And Pilate, willing to release Jesus, spoke again to them.


But they cried, saying, Crucify! Crucify Him!


But they pressed on him, with loud voices, requesting that He might be crucified. And their voices and those of the chief priests prevailed.


And Pilate said to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
