Strive to enter in at the narrow gate. For I say to you, many will seek to enter in and shall not be able.


Therefore let us labor to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief.


And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth-aven, on the east side of Bethel. And he spoke to them, saying, Go up and look over the country. And the men went up and spied out Ai.


And about three thousand men of the people went up there. And they fled before the men of Ai.


Therefore, brothers, rather be diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things, you shall never fall.


But also in this very thing, bringing in all diligence, filling out your faith with virtue, and with virtue, knowledge;
