They also brought barley and straw for the horses and mules, to the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.


And Elisha said, Hear the Word of Jehovah! So says Jehovah, Tomorrow about this time a measure of fine flour will be sold at a shekel, and two measures of barley at a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.


He makes peace in your borders and fills you with the finest of the wheat.


And they spoke against God; they said, Can God set a table in the wilderness?


Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and pained the Holy One of Israel.


And He would have fed them also with the finest of the wheat; and with honey out of the rock I would have satisfied you.


Judah and the land of Israel were your merchants with wheat from Minnith and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm, they gave for your goods.


And they said to Him, We have here only five loaves and two fish.


Do you not yet understand, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand baskets you took up;


He said to them, How many loaves do you have? Go and see. And when they knew, they said, Five, and two fish.


When I broke the five loaves among five thousand, how many hand baskets full of fragments did you take up? They said to Him, Twelve.


But He said to them, You give them something to eat. And they said, We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.


Then Martha said to Jesus, Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.

And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those who had reclined; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.


Philip answered Him, Loaves for two hundred denarii are not enough for them, that every one may take a little.
