As Jehovah your God lives, there is no nation nor kingdom where my lord has not sent to seek you. And when they said, He is not there, he took an oath of the kingdom and nation that they did not find you.


And I said, Should such a man as I flee? And who, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.


Though an army should camp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I am trusting.


I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set against me all around.


The wicked flee when no man pursues; but the righteous are bold as a lion.


From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.


You know that after two days the Passover comes, and the Son of Man is betrayed to be crucified.


And as they ate, He said, Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me.


Then Jesus said to them, All of you will be offended because of Me this night. For it is written, "I will smite the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad."


And He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and in the Prophets and in the Psalms about Me.


And before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come when He should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own in the world, He loved them to the end.


For He knew who would betray Him. Therefore He said, You are not all clean.


They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said to them, I AM! And Judas who betrayed Him also stood with them.


Then He asked them again, Whom do you seek? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.


After this, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, I thirst.


But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who is the one betraying Him.


You revealed to Me the ways of life. You will fill Me with joy with Your countenance."


Therefore, Christ having suffered for us in the flesh, also you arm yourselves with the same thought, that he suffering in the flesh has been made to rest from sin,
