I am sought by those who asked not for Me; I am found by those who did not seek Me. I said, Behold Me, behold Me, to a nation not calling on My name.


Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax-collector; James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbeus, whose surname was Thaddeus;


But when Jesus heard that John was thrown into prison, He went back into Galilee.


But Jesus said to him, Follow Me, and let the dead bury their dead.


And as Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax-office. And He said to him, Follow Me! And he arose and followed Him.


For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.


These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.


The next day John sees Jesus coming to him and says, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!


Again, the next day afterward, John stood with two of his disciples.


And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.


Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.


Then these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we want to see Jesus.


Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.


This beginning of miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee. And it revealed His glory. And His disciples believed on Him.


Then Jesus lifted up His eyes and saw a great crowd come to Him. He said to Philip, Where shall we buy loaves so that these may eat?


Philip answered Him, Loaves for two hundred denarii are not enough for them, that every one may take a little.


Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect, but I am pressing on, if I may lay hold of that for which I also was taken hold of by Christ Jesus.


We love Him because He first loved us.
