And Jeroboam built Shechem in mount Ephraim and lived in it, and went out from there and built Penuel.


They listened to me, and waited, and kept silent at my counsel.


After my words they did not go on; and my speech dropped on them.


Before shattering, the heart of man is proud, and before honor is humility.


For all those My hand has made, and all those exist, says Jehovah. But to this one I will look, to the afflicted and contrite spirit, and the one who trembles at My Word.


For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within sixty-five years Ephraim shall be broken so that it shall not be a people.
