And Lot said to them, Oh no, Lord,


Behold now, this city is near to flee to, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.


And Lot went up out of Zoar, and lived in the mountain, and his two daughters with him. For he feared to live in Zoar, and he and his two daughters lived in a cave.


And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him. And he made him overseer over his house, and he put into his hand all he had.


But Noah found grace in the eyes of Jehovah.


And they shall answer, Because they left Jehovah their God who brought out their fathers from the land of Egypt, and have taken hold on other gods and have worshiped them and served them. On account of this Jehovah has brought on them all this evil.


He answered him and said, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me!


And her neighbors and her kinsfolk heard how the Lord had magnified His mercy with her, and they rejoiced with her.


What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?


Then My anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them. And I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day, Have not these evils come on us because our God is not among us?


And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul. Nothing is better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines. And Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any border of Israel, and so I shall escape out of his hand.
