Lo, these are the edges of His ways; but what a whisper of a word we hear of Him! And the thunder of His power who can understand?


He stretches out the north over the empty place, and He hung the earth on nothing.


When I made the clouds its robe, and darkness its navel-band,


He makes a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be gray-headed.


You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; and You renew the face of the earth.


You covered the deep as with a robe; the waters stand above the mountains.


To Him who stretched out the earth above the waters; for His mercy endures forever.


Let praise be to Jehovah from the earth, the sea-monsters, and all deeps;
