And Jehovah said to Moses, Lo, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. And Moses told the words of the people to Jehovah.


And Jehovah said to Moses, So you shall say to the sons of Israel, You have seen that I have talked with you from the heavens.


And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.


To whom then will you compare God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?


The voice of him who cries in the wilderness, Prepare the way of Jehovah, make straight a highway in the desert for our God.


The voice said, Cry! And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the beauty of it is as the flower of the field.


I will speak with him mouth to mouth, even clearly, and not in dark speeches. And he shall behold the likeness of Jehovah. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?


While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And behold a voice out of the cloud which said, This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear Him.


And lo, a voice from Heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.


For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight."


And He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the Ten Commandments which Jehovah spoke to you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. And Jehovah gave them to me.


And you came near and stood under the mountain. And the mountain burned with fire to the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.


And He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, ten commandments. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone.


Therefore take good heed to yourselves, for you saw no kind of likeness on the day Jehovah spoke to you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire,


Did people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire as you have heard and live?


He made you hear His voice out of Heaven so that He might teach you. And He showed you His great fire upon earth. And you heard His words out of the midst of the fire.


Jehovah spoke these words to all your assembly in the mountain out of the midst of the fire of the cloud and of the thick darkness with a great voice. And He added no more. And He wrote them in two tablets of stone and delivered them to me.


Jehovah talked with you face to face in the mountain out of the midst of the fire;


And Jehovah delivered to me two tablets of stone written with the finger of God, and on them according to all the words which Jehovah spoke with you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.


who is the image of the invisible God, the First-born of all creation.


and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words (which voice they who heard begged that a word should not be spoken to them any more,
