2 And this is the manner of the release. Every man who has a loan to his neighbor shall release it. He shall not exact it from his neighbor, or from his brother, because it is called Jehovah's release.

They say, Why have we fasted, and You do not see? Why have we afflicted our soul, and You take no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and crush all your laborers.


and forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors.


And they having nothing to pay, he freely forgave both. Then which of them do you say will love him most?


At the end of every seven years you shall make a release.


You may exact it from a foreigner, but your hand shall release that which is yours with your brother,


And Moses commanded them, saying: At the end of seven years, at the set time of the year of release, in the Feast of Tabernacles,


For he who has shown no mercy shall have judgment without mercy, and mercy exults over judgment.
