We did not see our signs; there is no prophet any more; neither is there among us any who knows how long.


And behold, six men came from the way of the Upper Gate which faces north, and each had his shattering weapon in his hand. And one man among them was clothed with linen, and a writer's inkhorn by his side. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar.


Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood another two, the one on this side, and the one on that side of the bank of the river.


And I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, O my lord, what shall be the end of these things?


Then I heard a certain holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that one who spoke, Until when shall the vision last, concerning the daily sacrifice and the transgression that astounds, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled?


And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called and said, Gabriel, make this one understand the vision.


And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?


Tell us, When shall all these things be? And what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?


so that now to the rulers and powers in the heavenlies might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,


To them it was revealed that not to themselves, but to us, they ministered the things which are now reported to you by those who have preached the gospel to you in the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.


And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and were tied at the breasts with golden bands.


And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.


And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Until when, Master, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?
