What man is he who fears Jehovah? He shall teach him in the way that he shall choose.


Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O Jehovah, to teach him out of Your Law;


I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will also lead him, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.


For all those My hand has made, and all those exist, says Jehovah. But to this one I will look, to the afflicted and contrite spirit, and the one who trembles at My Word.


And He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.


And the hand of Jehovah was on me there. And He said to me, Arise, go out into the plain, and I will talk with you there.


I heard and my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice. Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself that I might rest in the day of trouble; to come up against the people; he cuts him off.


But many who are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.


And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?


And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man and one who fears God, and one of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and to hear words from you.


Therefore send to Joppa and call here Simon whose last name is Peter, he is staying in the house of Simon, a tanner by the seaside; who, when he comes, shall speak to you.


He is staying with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the seaside. He will tell you what you must do.


And hearing this, they were stabbed in the heart, and said to Peter and to the other apostles, Men, brothers, what shall we do?


And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said to me, Arise and go into Damascus. And there it shall be told you all things which are appointed for you to do.


But rise and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of what you saw, and in what I shall appear to you;

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, cultivate your own salvation with fear and trembling.


But He gives more grace. Therefore He says, God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.


And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do. And you shall anoint for Me whomever I name to you.


And Saul saw the army of the Philistines, and he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled.
