And it happened at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet came near and said, Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel, and that I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your Word.


Evening and morning, and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud; and He shall hear my voice.


The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at evening.


And when he had learned that the document was signed, Daniel went to his house. And his windows were open in his roof room toward Jerusalem; and he kneeled on his knees three times a day and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.

About the ninth hour of the day he saw plainly in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, Cornelius!


And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour. And at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing.


And continuing with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food with gladness and simplicity of heart,


Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms.


And fastening his eyes on him, Peter with John said, Look on us!


But seeing the boldness of Peter and John, and perceiving that they were unlearned and uneducated men, they marveled. And they recognized them, that they had been with Jesus.


But one came, reporting to them, saying, Behold, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people.


And the apostles in Jerusalem hearing that Samaria had received the Word of God, they sent Peter and John to them;


and knowing the grace given to me, James, and Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, gave right hands of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we go to the nations, but they to the circumcision.
