10 Therefore if I come, I will remember his deeds which he does, ranting against us with evil words. And not content with these, neither does he himself receive the brothers. And he forbids those who would, and casts them out of the church.

Hear the Word of Jehovah, you who tremble at His Word; your brothers who hated you, who cast you out for My name's sake, said, Let Jehovah be glorified. But He will appear to your joy, and they will be ashamed.


Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall cut you off, and when they shall reproach you and shall cast out your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man.


His parents spoke these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.


And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples and said, (the number of names together was about a hundred and twenty,)


I told you before, and I say beforehand, as being present the second time and being absent now. I write to those who sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again, I will not spare.


So then as we have time, let us work good toward all, especially toward those of the household of faith.


And with it all they also learn to be idle, going around the houses; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things they ought not.


If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house, nor speak a greeting to him.


Having many things to write to you, I do not want to say with paper and ink. But I trust to come to you and speak face to face, so that our joy may be full.


For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified of the truth that is in you, even as you walk in the truth.


Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you work for the brothers and for strangers,
