And they came to the place which God had told him of. And Abraham built an altar there and laid the wood in order. And he bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on the wood.

And it happened on the next day the people rose early and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.


Then Gideon built an altar there to Jehovah, and called it Jehovah-shalom. It is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites to this day.


And Saul said, Bring a burnt offering here to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.
