Then the messengers came to Gibeah of Saul, and told the news in ears of the people. And all the people lifted up their voices and wept.


And swear therefore to me before Jehovah that you will not cut off my seed after me, and that you will not destroy my name out of my father's house.


And David swore to Saul. And Saul went home, but David and his men went up into the hold.
