2 Kings 3:11 - Modern King James Version

11 And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah, that we may ask of Jehovah by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, who poured water on the hands of Elijah.

And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah besides, that we might inquire of Him?


And he went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.


And the king of Israel said, Alas! that Jehovah has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab!


And Jehoshaphat said, The Word of Jehovah is with him. And the king of Israel, and Jehoshaphat, and the king of Edom went down to him.


But he clung to the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin. He did not depart from them.

And Zedekiah the king sent and took him out. And the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any Word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is. For, He said, you shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

And the sons of Israel went up and wept before Jehovah until evening, and asked counsel from Jehovah saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the sons of Benjamin my brother? And Jehovah said, Go up against him.
