I confessed my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, I will confess my transgression to Jehovah; and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.


You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall circle me with songs of deliverance. Selah.


Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for my soul.


Show me a token for good, so that they who hate me may see and be ashamed; because You, Jehovah, have helped me and comforted me.


And in that day you shall say, O Jehovah, I will praise You; though You were angry with me, turn away Your anger, and You shall comfort me.


Comfort, O comfort my people, says your God.


They shall not hunger nor thirst; nor shall the heat nor sun strike them; for He who has mercy on them shall lead them; even by the springs of water He shall guide them.


I, I, am He who comforts you. Who are you, that you should fear a man. He shall die, or from the son of man? He shall be made as grass?


For Jehovah shall comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah. Joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.


Break out, sing together, waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah has comforted His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem.


And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, so that He may be with you forever,


I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.


But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.


Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort, and we rather rejoiced more abundantly over the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.


My boldness of speech is great toward you; my glorying on your behalf is much. I have been filled with comfort, I am overflowing with joy on all our trouble.


And most of the brothers in the Lord, becoming confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the Word without fear.


Therefore comfort one another with these words.


Therefore comfort one another, and edify one another, even as you also do.


Because of this, straighten up the hands which hang down and the enfeebled knees.
