And this shall be a sign to you, which shall come upon your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day both of them shall die.


In that day I will confirm to Eli all that which I have spoken as to his house, beginning and making an end.


And the ark of God was taken. And Hophni and Phinehas, the two sons of Eli, were slain.


And she said, The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God is taken.
