And he turned and sent again a third commander of fifty and his fifty. And the third commander of fifty came up and fell on his knees before Elijah, and begged him, and said to him, Man of God, Please let my life and the life of these fifty, your servants, be precious in your sight.


Behold, fire has come down from the heavens and burned up the two commanders of the former fifties with their fifties. And now let my life be precious in your sight.


Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of His saints.


for the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceases forever,


He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence; and their blood shall be precious in His sight.


And Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time. Jehovah is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.


And Balaam said to the Angel of Jehovah, I have sinned. For I did not know that You stood in the way against me. Now therefore, if it displeases You, I will go back again.

Then he said, I have sinned. Please honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel, and turn again with me. And I shall worship Jehovah your God.


And the rulers of the Philistines came out. And it happened as often as they came out, David acted more wisely than all the servants of Saul, so that his name was very precious.


And he said to David, You are more righteous than I, for you have rewarded me with good, but I have rewarded you evil.


And David answered and said, Behold the king's spear! And let one of the young men come over and get it.


And behold, as your life was precious in my eyes this day, so let my life be precious in the eyes of Jehovah, and let Him deliver me out of all tribulation.


And Saul was told that David had fled to Gath. And he never again looked for him.
