And those who seek my life lay snares for me; and those who seek my hurt speak sly things, and utter deceits all the day long.


And Pharaoh's servants said to him, How long shall this man be a snare to us? Let the men go so that they may serve Jehovah their God. Do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed?


A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet.


For among My people are found wicked ones; they lie in wait, as one who sets snares; they set a trap, they catch men.


Their tongue is a slaughtering arrow; it speaks deceit; one speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in heart he lies in ambush.


And Saul said to David, Behold I will give you my older daughter Merab for a wife. Only you be a brave son for me and fight Jehovah's battles. For Saul said, Let not my hand be on him, but let the hand of the Philistines be on him.


And Saul commanded his servants, Talk with David secretly and say, Behold, the king delights in you, and all his servants love you. And now be the king's son-in-law.


And when his servants told David these words, it was right in the eyes of David to be the king's son-in-law. And the days were not fulfilled.
