12 I wrote to you through a few words, by Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, exhorting and testifying this to be the true grace of God in which you stand.

Seeing him, Peter said to Jesus, Lord, and what of this one?


who was glad when he had come and had seen the grace of God. And he exhorted all with purpose of heart to remain near to the Lord.


Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men from them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; Judas, whose last name was Barsabas; and Silas, chief men among the brothers.


But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus Christ, to testify fully the gospel of the grace of God.


Through Him we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice on the hope of the glory of God.


And, brothers, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and in which you stand;


For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us; by me and Silas and Timothy; was not yes and no, but in Him was, yes!


Not that we have dominion over your faith, but we are helpers of your joy; for by faith you stand.
