Far be it from You to act in this manner, to kill the righteous with the wicked. And far be it from You, that the righteous should be as the wicked. Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?


You have seen it; for You behold mischief and vexation, to repay it with Your hand. The poor commits himself to You; You are the Helper of the fatherless.


Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Jehovah, the God of truth.


Roll your way on Jehovah; trust also in Him, and He will work.


God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.


before Jehovah; for He comes, for He comes to judge the earth; He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth.


He was oppressed, and He was afflicted; yet He opened not His mouth. He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before its shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.


And we indeed justly so, for we receive the due reward of our deeds, but this Man has done nothing amiss.


And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit. And when He had said this, He breathed out the spirit.


And he questioned Him in many words, but He answered him nothing.

And masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatening, knowing that your Master also is in Heaven. There is no respect of persons with Him.


For this is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God for which you also suffer,


For this cause I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard My deposit unto that Day.


Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing.


For consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and faint in your minds.


Never give back evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, giving blessing, knowing that you are called to this so that you might inherit blessing.


Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing, as to a faithful Creator.


And I saw Heaven opened. And behold, a white horse! And He sitting on him was called Faithful and True. And in righteousness He judges and makes war.
