But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of Heaven against men. For you neither go in, nor do you allow those entering to go in.


If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.


Then being made free from sin, you became the slaves of righteousness.


But now, being made free from sin, and having become slaves to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.


For he who is called a slave in the Lord is a freed man of the Lord. And likewise, he who is called a free man is a slave of Christ.


Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and do not again be held with the yoke of bondage.


For, brothers, you were called to liberty. Only do not use the liberty for an opening to the flesh, but by love serve one another.


not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,


knowing that from the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ.


For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor with pretense of covetousness; God is witness.


But whoever looks into the perfect Law of liberty and continues in it, he is not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work. This one shall be blessed in his doing.


So speak and do as those who shall be judged by the Law of liberty.
