And your handmaid said, The word of my lord the king shall now be comforting. For as an angel of God, so is my lord the king, to see what is good and bad. And Jehovah your God will be with you.


And all the earth sought Solomon, to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart.


And the word was good in the eyes of Jehovah, that Solomon had asked this thing.


And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged. And they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to do judgment.


Only may Jehovah give you wisdom and understanding, and direct you concerning Israel, so that you may keep the Law of Jehovah your God.


And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the magnificent house for which I have made ready.


Give me now wisdom and knowledge that I may go out and come in before this people. For who can judge this Your great people?


The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting; give me understanding, and I shall live.


Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your Law; yea, I shall observe it with all my heart.


JOD: Your hands have made me and formed me; give me understanding so that I may learn Your Commandments.


The wisdom of the wise is to understand his way, but the folly of fools is deceit.


How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver!


The hearing ear and the seeing eye, Jehovah has made both of them.


Wisdom is good with an inheritance; but it is gain to those who see the sun.


Wisdom makes the wise stronger than ten mighty ones who are in the city.


Then I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, I do not know to speak; for I am a boy.


And do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I will bring evil on all flesh, says Jehovah. But I will give your life to you as a prize, in all places where you go.


And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.


I indeed baptize you with water to repentance. But He who comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire;


But John restrained Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?


I can do nothing of My own self. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of the Father who has sent Me.


to the one we are the savor of death to death, and to the other we are the savor of life to life. And who is sufficient for these things?


not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God;


Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.


that you may distinguish between things that differ, that you may be sincere and without offense until the day of Jesus Christ,


But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, even those who because of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.


But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.


But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
