Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the people of the land where you go, lest it be for a snare in the midst of you.


and lest you take from their daughters for your sons, and their daughters go whoring after their gods and make your sons go whoring after their gods.


Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem. For Judah has profaned the holy place of Jehovah, which He loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.


who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.


Let love be without hypocrisy, shrinking from evil, cleaving to good;


Do not be deceived; evil companionships corrupt good habits.


But I have against you that you left your first love.
