1 John 3:8 - Modern King James Version

8 He who practices sin is of the Devil, for the Devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that He might undo the works of the Devil.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.


In that day Jehovah with His great and fierce and strong sword shall punish the sea-monster, the darting serpent, the sea-monster, that twisting serpent; and He shall kill the monster in the sea.


And Moses made a serpent of bronze, and put it upon a pole. And it happened that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked upon the serpent of brass, he lived.


But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you.


the field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; but the darnel are the sons of the evil one.


And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.


saying, What is to us and to You, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know You, who You are, the Holy One of God.


And He said to them, I saw Satan fall from Heaven like lightning.


Now is the judgment of this world. Now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.


And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.


in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience;


Having stripped rulers and authorities, He made a show of them publicly, triumphing over them in it.


And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among nations, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.

(for then He must have suffered often since the foundation of the world), but now once in the end of the world He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.


For if God did not spare sinning angels, but thrust them down into Tartarus, and delivered them into chains of darkness, being reserved to judgment.


(for the Life was revealed, and we have seen it and bear witness, and show to you the everlasting Life, who was with the Father and was revealed to us),


In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the Devil: everyone not practicing righteousness is not of God, also he who does not love his brother.


And you know that He was revealed that He might take away our sins, and in Him is no sin.


We know that we are of God, and all the world lies in evil.


And those angels not having kept their first place, but having deserted their dwelling-place, He has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of a great Day;


And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever.


And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.
