Take with you words, and turn to Jehovah. Say to Him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously, that we may repay with the calves of our lips.


And she shall bear a son, and you shall call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.


And we indeed justly so, for we receive the due reward of our deeds, but this Man has done nothing amiss.


And when the centurion saw what had been done, he glorified God, saying, Truly this Man was righteous.


The next day John sees Jesus coming to him and says, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!


And I did not know Him, but that He be revealed to Israel, therefore I have come baptizing with water.


I shall no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of this world comes, and he has nothing in Me.


Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do you not believe Me?


For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.


Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.


And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among nations, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.


who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.


who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, through Himself cleansing of our sins, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high,


For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted just as we are, yet without sin.


For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens,


(for then He must have suffered often since the foundation of the world), but now once in the end of the world He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.


so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many. And to those who look for Him He shall appear the second time without sin to salvation.


knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers,


indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times for you,


He who did no sin, nor was guile found in His mouth,


He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.


For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;


(for the Life was revealed, and we have seen it and bear witness, and show to you the everlasting Life, who was with the Father and was revealed to us),


But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.


My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.


And He is the propitiation concerning our sins, and not concerning ours only, but also concerning the sins of all the world.


If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who does righteousness has been born of Him.


He who practices sin is of the Devil, for the Devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that He might undo the works of the Devil.


even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-born from the dead and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
