With the pure You will show Yourself pure; and with the perverted You will appear perverse.


Therefore be perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.


Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.


And I sanctify Myself for their sakes, so that they also might be sanctified in truth.


And He put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.


And again Isaiah says, "There shall be a root of Jesse, and He who shall rise to reign over the nations, in Him shall the nations trust."


Then having these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilements of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.


for the hope which is laid up for you in Heaven, of which you heard before in the Word of the truth of the gospel,


Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,


that being justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.


Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord;


so that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us,


For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens,


Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, double-minded ones.


but according to the Holy One who has called you, you also become holy in all conduct,


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has regenerated us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,


through which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.


Therefore, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found by Him in peace.


He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.


In this is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, that as He is, so also we are in this world.
