You shall not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Jehovah.


The stranger that dwells with you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself. For you were strangers in the land of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God.


You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy."


I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another.


And taking hold of him, they led him to the Areopagus, saying, Are we able to know what is this new doctrine of which you speak?


And you shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.


But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you and things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this way.


Therefore what you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you will abide in both the Son and in the Father.


For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;


Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He shall be revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.


Beloved, if our heart does not accuse us, we have confidence toward God.


And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.


Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits to see if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.


Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.


And we have this commandment from Him, that he who loves God should love his brother also.


Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God.
