The tabernacles of robbers prosper, And they that provoke God are secure; Into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.


Upright men shall be astonied at this, And the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.


Wherefore do the wicked live, Become old, yea, are mighty in power?


Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; Yet his eyes are upon their ways.


His ways are always grievous; Thy judgments are far above out of his sight: As for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.


Fret not thyself because of evildoers, Neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.


Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.


Let not thine heart envy sinners: But be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.


Be not thou envious against evil men, Neither desire to be with them.


Envy thou not the oppressor, And choose none of his ways.


All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.


Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?


And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.


Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
